I was going to use this post to announce my Holly Collar pattern, however, during the photo shoot, my model heard the call of the wild a Moose and took off down the road.
Moose is chocolate Labrador puppy, which belongs to the son of the people next door. I know! Silly name for a dog…imagine people naming a puppy after an animal… so, back to Robin.
Just wearing a pair of ballet style slippers on my feet I run down the road to catch her. There are no sidewalks where I live so running on gravel in almost bare feet is not exactly easy. My runway model ran headlong, willy-nilly and joyously, as only a puppy can, down the road to three houses away, where she stopped to sniff interesting scents in the yard. I arrived a few seconds minutes later and grabbed her by the tail… it was all that was sticking out from under a shrub.
Robin had no clue what she had done and was all wiggly and happy to see me, my heart is still in my throat hours later. We were in a confined space for the photo shoot and I thought I had her in my control, however, when Moose barked she took off to find him.
So, don’t be surprised if in future photos she in her kennel, wearing a harness, a collar, two leashes and guarded by a security guard; for her safety and my sanity.

Just so you know that Robin is safe and sound a photo of her sleeping as I type. Can you see her?
She says sorry for scaring everyone and promises not to run away again. Well, that is unless a Moose calls her again.
Enough excitement in that few minutes to last me for a while on the East Coast
It is snowing outside as I post this.
