Well, great or not this was my pumpkin last year. All 7 of the kids who came to my house Hallowe'en night thought it was cool.
For really GREAT pumpkins Dill's Atlantic Giant are the winner's worldwide and they were developed here on the East Coast.

It has been blowing a gale here the last few days. Although it blew through 3 years ago, it appears more trees than we first thought were weakened by Juan. My yard continues to suffer Friday night I lost another two trees.

I live with 3 cats and a dog who like to invent their own fun. Their idea of fun can often be destructive so I had to intervene. With Doris Dingle's Crafty Cat Activity Book as my inspiration, the elusive rare Amethyst snake was created. If you look at the rocks, you will see some of the Amethyst quartz, which is fairly common in my yard.

I can't claim full credit for this photo, the camera was in my hand, I did press the button, though I was not in control of the direction the camera was pointing. When trying to take a photo of my dog she bumped my arm and this photo was the result.
The metal crows are from Topiary in the Hydostone. I like crows. These are for Halloween one crow will hang from the front veranda roof and the other will sit on the railing.

I often take photos when I wait for the bus, this is the view across from the bus stop near my home.
