Things change even when you don't expect them too...

 My young dog Holly died very unexpectedly on January 13, 2007. We miss her a lot.

A little Robin came in the spring and has been brightening our home.

She is a Parson Russell Terrier.

She is very affectionate, funny, smart, loves the three cats and her people.

She loves to swim.

Enjoyed the summer.

She loves to play with her toys. The best ones always seem to be at the bottom of the basket.

She loves the brown dog next door. He is afraid of her unless she is at his height. The wuss.

 She likes to play with the ball on rope which is hung from a tree in the yard.

This is from yesterday's outing.

The bag is a small leather back pack. 

It was very, very, very cold (-25°C) though sunny - sunglasses.

Most stores here ask if you require a bag for your purchase, I generally say no - the CD's. 

The green wallet/day timer combo - tells me where I'm going and contains the money to get me there.

I’m left handed; I can’t use the pens at store or banks which are attached to the counter ‘cus they are set up for right handed people - my beautiful, pewter pen.

My cellphone in it's pretty green case.

Tunes - iPod Shuffle.

When it is cold and windy my lips get dry and chap - Carmex Lip Balm.

I  went over to see my Dad - the bus transfer.

I'm a bit careless with money in the sense that I leave it in pockets and at the bottom of my bag rather than putting it in my wallet - $44.20 loose bills and change.

I'm part crow I love shiny things - key chain.

These bottles are on a windowsill in the upstairs hall. They were my brother's. He collected old bottles, yet he kept them wrapped in paper, packed in boxes, in his closet, out in his shed, or under the stairs at my parent's house. I remember him each time I see the bottles.

Teddy

 

Teddy was a Christmas gift when I was 8 years old. He uses to have felt eyes though they were lost in one of the many baths he had in the washing machine over the years. I sewed on old fashion, glass, shoe-button eyes however; my cats keep chewing them off… Though Teddy is pink, he is always referred to as he. Teddy now lives happily on a vintage pine rocker in my bedroom.

1. Intelligence is conspiratorial, clandestine, dangerous, seductive and volatile, full of betrayals and reprisals on both sides. In addition, watching Ian Tracey is a treat…(how I miss watching Nicholas Campbell on Da Vinci's Inquest & Da Vinci’s City Hall)                                                                                                                                   
2. The Rick Mercer Report   No one does a rant like Rick... Rick's vists with the PMs are priceless...

   Rick & Paul Martin do Canadian Tire and Sleepover at 24 Sussex Drive with Stephen Harper.  Only is Canada Eh!

3. At The Hotel Murder, mayhem, true love and 24-hour room service. A mix of drama, comedy, mystery and satire, as well as music and dance numbers…. Anything written/directed by Ken Finkleman is a must see. See the The Chateau Rousseau website for more information.

4. Corner Gas  Forty kilometres from nowhere and way beyond normal is Corner Gas, an ensemble comedy series about a bunch of nobodies who get up to a whole lot of nothing in the fictional prairie town of Dog River, Saskatchewan.

5. Robson Arms  One thing is certain; you will never see your neighbours in the same way again …

I love tea. I prefer my tea hot, very strong, and with a splash of skim milk. I generally drink Red Rose tea, however also like trying other varieties. At Pete's Frootique  I can find imported tea in the Best of Britain section. Being a Maritimer I could not resist the two jars of tea above, which I found at The Tea Brewery market stall in the HSC.
