Picture this!

So do I look different? You do. The view from my new computer is BIGger...! I bought the computer as a belated birthday gift to me, however didn't want to set it up until I had finished phase one of the great purge. There has been a lot of sorting and chucking going on here. The truck came as planned Monday and my house felt lighter and bigger as they drove away. Some of the items I put into the bags refused to stay put and jumped back into my closet, however 20 bags of clothes & bedding, 10 bags of magazines, 5 boxes of household items, several baskets and a lamp did go away. There is more I want to go through - craft things, Christmas decorations, books a couple pieces of furniture. I have several boxes of my brothers bottle collection that need sorted to be sold. Then there is his video collection 200+ tapes...

Very freeing this purging...

Sandy asked to see our sky. I had to "Look up, look wa-a-ay up…" (remember the Friendly Giant) to see the sky in my treed yard.

This was the morning view through a Juan damaged beech tree.

This is a mid-day fall maple view.

I didn't just look up. I also saw these things in my yard.

Fall berries.

Rose hips.

Raspberry leaves.

Shovel by the gate.

15 bags full and a stack of boxes.

Hello,  I'm Jellicle and I'm going to be your guest Blogger today ... Mommy is busy.

Mommy is doing a big clear out of all her junk clothes, bedding, towels, dishes...everything. Not her books though she says they will be done later... maybe never. She has a lot of books.

Harlequin & I have been helping we have examined all the boxes, explored every corner, closet, and bag. It is so much fun to leap from bag to bag, and chew on the corners of the cardboard boxes. We even helped re-sort one bag, we chewed big holes in the side of the bag, pulled the clothes out, and played hid and seek in the clothes. Mommy did not seem very pleased with our work. It sounded like she said something about you "little rats" although I'm sure she meant to say little cats. Mommy is so funny.

Mommy keeps muttering and asking questions like:

"How did I ended up with 14 black skirts?"

"Why do I have a yellow blouse?"

"Do I really need all these purses?"

"Why do I have so many shoes? There are shoes in boxes I've forgotten I had, do I have too many shoes?"

"Oh lord this is ugly why am I keeping it?"

She keeps sighing and saying ..."I have a yellow blouse?"...? I never wear yellow!"

I don't know the answer to these questions Mommy is asking. Cats don't care about clothes, unless we can play in them.

It got boring helping. So, I played chase with Harlequin until we knocked over a stack of boxes.... I don't know what happened next 'cus we ran like h*ll.

Mommy took a break and we got to go outside.

We met the neighbour.

Mommy said he is pretty, we thought he was boring. All he did was stare at us, maybe 'cus we are so beautiful.

Mommy said she must get back to her clearing out as the Big Brothers & Sisters - Renew Crew truck is coming September 19 and she wants to be ready.

I need a nap now.
